Inquiry is required. Unsolicited submissions will not be accepted.
Digital submission/receipt is acceptable, however I'm old-fashioned and prefer hard-copy. It is much quicker, and easier to make notes. If you'd like to submit your work digitally, you can save on hassle and postage and I will print the pages for you (see associated fees). You may submit your own hard copy (address will be provided upon contract agreement) as well. Verbal/Personal consultation available. DropBox (online) and fax are also available options.

$3/page, flat rate.
$1.50/page, revision rate
$25/hour for consultation, one hour minimum.

Contract Terms - Highlights:
Ø Submitted material is confidential – none will be shared and/or published by Editor without the express written permission of the Author. Copies of manuscript will be kept confidentially on file to retain written notes by Editor.
Ø Editor will receive the page proofs by agreed upon method of delivery, and will return them within a deadline agreed upon between Editor and Author, to be returned also by agreed upon method of delivery (detailed within Invoice).
Ø Editor will receive payment of $ ---- per page to include light grammar/punctuation edits as discussed in initial consultation, and story/character guidance. Edits are suggestions made by Editor, with no obligation by Author to incorporate into manuscript.
Ø Editor will receive payment of $ ---- /hour for verbal consultation. Consultation is strictly at the request of Author, and is not required to complete the task of editing manuscript. A one-hour minimum will be charged.
Ø If the text does not appear to be as represented, Editor will discuss with Author the revising of payment rate, deadline, or direction of edit immediately upon receiving the manuscript.
Ø Author will provide printed, hard-copy of manuscripts unless specified between Author and Editor. A printing fee will otherwise apply at the rate of ---- cents per page.
Ø Payment is to be made within 30 days of receipt of manuscript. If payment is not made within 30 days, a late fee of 2% per calendar month will be added to balance. If Author or Editor should decide not to pursue completion of this project for any reason, the party must notify the other in writing, and the Editor will invoice the Author for work completed to that date, at the rate outlined above.
